#03 The Once-Weekly Long RunLet’s talk about the all-important once weekly long run, which is distinct from the other hard run days of the week. The long run is the second basic weekly element of any running training schedule, after the hard easy principle. In other words, you want to include a long run as one of the hard days that you are already separating to follow the hard easy principle as explained in the last episode. You can listen to that here. Learn how to determine the length of the long run as compared to other runs and why it is so essential to a successful running training program.
