The famous runner’s high is sacred n the running community, right? Sure. It is what keeps us coming back to run again, hitting the pavement or the trails, day after day, year after year. We cherish our runner’s high and we count on it. Without those endorphins, we’d be in need of much more mental motivation. The runner’s high, in that sense, is a staple in our running arsenal. We, literally, use it, we count on it to help us fulfull our running schedule, but there is a downside. There is one occasion when endorphins can be problem.
